*--06.i'm a right clicka!
I have been using Microsoft throughout my life; from their development of Windows96 to Windows XP. They have the entire element of internet, media and Microsoft Office. It is definitely really easy to use and handle even for starters. Right now, Windows brought out Vista where their graphics are better and they are trying to aim to be like Mac. Vista has many extra functions to make it more fun and convenient for the user. Mac’s graphics really awesome and they have many efficient features. However, Mac is still quite new to the society which is like a baby developing into the new world. =] Therefore, not that many software and games are able to be used with Mac, which is a big problem.

Even though Mac looks really sleek and elegant with all white or black, Windows have many more choices with many different brands. With all sorts of laptop and design people tend to buy them since they have more options. With the all white appearance it tends to get dirty quickly, especially on the keyboard. After awhile it will start to change colours and there would be an obvious imprint. Therefore, I am a right clicka!

*--05.questions of Bigthink

When I watched the video that I had picked, I was already bored within 10 sec. Then I tried to search for other videos that might interest me but they were all really boring. Their videos are all really formal and serious about the topic. They have experts answering the questions. Youtube is totally different from this website. Youtube catches people’s attention from their videos because they are stupid and funny. Those videos are usually homemade which makes it even better. Bigthink videos are attracted to adults not teenagers. They answer questions that are about things that are around us that are SO boring towards teens, like they won’t even care. Since they are not entertaining, teenagers would rarely watch the videos. They like to watch other people making fun of themselves and laugh about it. I don’t think I will ever go on the Bigthink ever again; youtube is way more interesting and entertaining.

*--04.bored, amazing graphic artist
All the hybrid pictures from the video were very astonishing and interesting. The pictures are all well done and look so realistic. The hybrid blended in perfectly, it’s so cool. It is amazing how artist can think of such thing. Some of them are quite funny and some of them are pretty cute. I think the one of the Statue of Liberty and the one with many head was funny. The one of the kiwi-mouse and the flower-dog was cute. I like the one with the pandas and black eye to look like ‘kiss’. I really like the one where an artist is painting the nails of a woman. It really made sense and looked really real. The artists’ imaginations are really wild and awesome. They are really creative and the merged images are done so well that people can’t even see there separation. The images are combined with other images using layers and masking, and then merging them together. With different tools, the image will look like one real original image.

*--03.pirating, me maties

Even though I know that pirating is wrong, I still do it. I could get music and movies for free or cheaper rather than spending a lot more money for a CD or a ticket to the movies. I don’t think it is worth it at all. There are a lot of songs I would like to listen, but I wouldn’t buy the whole CD spending $10 or more since I only like a few of its songs. I still go to the movies, but there are many other movies that I want to watch too. I don’t have that much money to spend it all on movies.

There are many software and programs that can download movies and music for FREE. Then why waste money buying $1 each song like on iTunes than use limewire to download music without using a penny. People can also download movies and TV shows for free. They would rather download them than even buy them from Pacific Mall where they sell pirated movies for like $20 for 8. Currently, people have been just downloading everything from their computers. People rarely buy CDs, DVDs, and software anymore. They all rely on the downloading and the internet to get everything for no cost rather than using unnecessary money.

*--02.my footprint
After doing the quiz, I found out that my ecological footprint is 6 which was quite surprising since I thought it would turn out higher. Comparing to the whole country ecological footprint which is 8.8, I think I did pretty good. However it would take 3.3 planets if everyone lived like me, which doesn’t look that good. My family and I have done many things to be environmental friendly. We always recycle whatever we can and try to limit our garbage. We usually take the TTC since we only own one car but we barely use it. We turn off things that we are not using and we also use efficient light bulbs and even our washer and dryer is also energy saving. However if the world depends on one family to improve our world’s ecological footprint, that is impossible. To improve our footprint, we all need to work together to help prevent our environmental issues. I think our biggest issues are pollution and global warming which is hard to fix without everyone’s help. Littering is also another issue, which causes pollution. I know that in Hong Kong you can get a fine of HK$1500 if you get caught of littering. After that law was released, people can really find a big change on the streets. That have also influenced other countries start to have the same law. I have noticed that this is a big issue for our future. Therefore we need to improve and adapt to our friendly environment.
